Our First Experiment in Provence

What happens when we bring together a diverse group of people from the worlds of art, philosophy, innovation, leadership, education, data, entrepreneurship, well-being, and healing to explore topics and questions that impact us all? Join us this Spring to find out!

Between April and June 2024, we are hosting a series of experiential, interdisciplinary learning journeys in the heart of Provence, to test our ideas further. Each of the gatherings will be intimate and jointly co-created by the group, diverse in experience and perspectives, focused on specific questions of inquiry with plenty of space to immerse ourselves in nature, enjoy the silence and company of others, and reconnect with our collective imagination and creativity.

24 - 26 April

Facing the fear(s) and joy of losing: How do we create space and time for the new?

Exploring what it means to gain lassenskraft (the power of letting go) and allow new qualities to emerge and come to life.

Hosted by Martin Calnan, Martin A. Ciesielski, and Sonja Kresojevic and joined by a diverse group coming from art, education, innovation, the futures literacy, architecture, and leadership development.

15 - 18 May

Emergent Creative Expressions: What are we inviting in?

An invitation to all (non)creatives who want to overcome the ‘I am not creative mindset’, reconnect with their sense of playfulness, and joy, or work to bring a creative idea to life.

29 May - 2 June

Navigating Transitions: Who do we choose to be?

An intimate, and deeply transformative 4-day experience, for anyone navigating life and work transitions. We will share learnings from our inner transformation journeys, reconnect with our sense of curiosity, creativity, and play, and support each other as we find a place of clarity and balance, from which we can step into a new, exciting path ahead.

13 - 16 June

Healing connections: How can vulnerability be our guide?

A 3-day gathering to explore how we can build collective resilience and support healing in organisations and communities.

Hosted by Sarah Nuedling, and Glyn Bottrell

20 - 23 June

Sensing the Future: How can we use sensory play to reimagine our life and work?

A journey out of the realm of things we already know and into the realm of things we haven’t figured out yet. Three days of playful exploration, using all our senses and our bodies, including a special AMA community dinner - an experience of beauty, love, and hope.

Hosted by Kim Arazi, and Sonja Kresojevic - with Esther Blázquez Blanco,
and Chris Everett for AMA community dinner on the 21 June

The Location

The backdrop for these gatherings is a beautiful 18th-century stone bastide, surrounded by vineyards and lavender fields, nestled between Cucuron and Laurmarin… some of the most beautiful villages of Provence in the South of France. For each gathering, we will have between 7 and 10 participants to ensure questions are explored in an intimate and supportive environment.
